Hi! My name is Amber and I have been working with children for 5 1/2, almost six years. I started as a freshman in high school working at a daycare for four years. For a brief time I lived in Missouri and worked at a YMCA. While I was there, I worked in the after school program, which is basically a daycare. After moving back, I applied at a daycare with a little more structure, and I worked with them for about seven months. This daycare was undergoing some drastic changes in management, and became somewhat unstable, so I am at my current job now. I'm looking to find a nanny job so I can get back to doing what I love. While I was in high school, I took a college class all four years for early childhood development. I moved down to Kansas City to finish my senior year and that class was not available. So I could not take the test and did not get to complete the full class credits. But I did get to make up the credits by taking a family and life class, and a parenting class. I have three little sisters that are all nine years younger or more in age difference.I am now a new aunt to two nephews and another one on the way. So, to say the least, I have been raised around, worked around, and love being around kids.
